Ethiopian Airlines Graduates 28 Aviation Technicians

Aviation Academy graduated Thursday its 92nd batch of 28 Aviation technicians of which 18 are Sudanese.
On the occasion, Ethiopia Aviation Maintenance Technicians School Asfaw Bekele said the trainees have successfully completed theoretical and practical sessions to qualify them as competent professionals.

The total number of graduates is 47 out of which 23 are Ethiopians while the remaining foreign nationals are from Sudan, Mozambique, Liberia Tanzania and Chad.
Ethiopian Chief of Operation Officer, Tewolde Gebremariam handed over diplomas to the graduates and awards for outstanding students.
The academy is a multinational training facility which consists of faculties of pilot training school (PTS),
Aviation Maintenance School
(MTS) and School of Marketing (SOM) and School of the Cabin Crews.
The AMTS School was established in 1967 and has graduated a total of 2614 out of which 808 were foreigners from 48 countries mainly from Africa and the Middle East.
Currently, some 224 Ethiopians and 63 foreigners are under training. The 63 foreign trainees are from Tanzania, Sudan, Chad, Liberia, Tanzania, Namibia, Mozambique and D.R. Congo (ENA)
